Cube 216 is a growing, dynamic Web design firm in Modesto, California. We are seeking a professional, skilled, and entrepreneurial PHP programmer to work on various client projects as well as helping to build and maintain Web services. This position is contract work with the possibility of fulltime employment in the future.

Skills:

- Knowledgeable in PHP 4.2+ as well as working with MySQL databases
- Understanding of how to develop Web applications and dynamic sites
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Web standards, and general issues with browser/platform compatibility
- Ability to work with designers on building functional and clean, yet stylish interfaces
- Knowledge of Unix (FreeBSD) systems, including Web security
- Familiarity with common authoring tools
- Ability to work remotely and come in to office for periodic meetings
- Comfortable working with clients and team members

Other desirable skills:

- Comfortable with JavaScript & DHTML
- Familiarity with Flash & Action scripting
- Experience with Flash game design
- Experience working with and developing Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience with eCommerce development
- Familiarity with online payment systems
