Color Stamps, a unique concept in search technology, actually paid
surfers to view its search results. A few humorous sketches of a
frog licking a stamp, soon became endorsed by the company and shortly
thereafter, the Color Stamps mascot was born. The stamp licking
frog make his most prominent appearance on a nationwide ad campaign
where he appeared on this poster design on approximately 2000 college
campuses.
The Color Stamps concept was a modern-day interpretation of the
green stamps of the post WWII era.
